Washington Nationals Contine To Misspell Everything

Its John Lannan

The Washington Nationals have cemented a reputation of misspelling everything that is associated with their organization to the point I’m beginning to think it’s intentional. In the past they have misspelled the team name on the front of their jerseys, twice, leaving out both times the “O” in Nationals. They have also screwed up souvenirs that were given out to fans as was the case with souvenir bats of pitcher Jordan Zimmermann name engraved into it with one of his “N” missing to a Teddy Roosevelt bobblehead that had his last name spelled “Rossevelt”. The Nationals also have a banner that honors the locals in the Washington DC Sports Hall of Fame that sits in the ballpark but reads “Honoriing.”

And now they have misspelled pitcher John Lannan name on the video scoreboard during the teams introductions. What makes it even more saddening is that Lannan was the starting pitcher for the infamous “Natinals” game.
