Teens Beaten After Tewbowing At Basketball Game
Two high school students were beat up after a prep basketball game in South Carolina this week after they made ‘Tebowing’ poses. The Post and Courier in Charleston reports that students from West Ashley High apparently felt that when the two students went into Tim Tebow’s familiar kneeling pose that they were taunting Waldo High, which lost the game by 20 points.
Neither of the beaten students, both 17, required hospitalization. But one began vomiting after he was kicked and punched outside the gym after the game.
Lara Isaac, mother of one of the two boys, told the Post and Courier that: “They were scared for their lives . . . No one was manning the exits to make sure this wouldn’t happen. The kids who did this apparently knew that.”
