Jamaal Charles & Dwayne Bowe waited for Peyton Manning to get his autograph
KCTV-5 reported on the warm postgame reception they received from Kansas City Chiefs fans after the Denver Broncos 17-9 win of the Chiefs on Sunday. But the focus of report quickly changed from the reception from Chiefs fans, to the reception of a couple of Chiefs players.
Running back Jamaal Charles and receiver Dwayne Bowe both were part of the reception of Manning with Charles asking for his autograph and Bowe posing for a picture with him.
Bowe made no bones about taking a picture with Manning saying, “It’s a legend, I guess. It’s Peyton Manning. Who wouldn’t want a picture with him? If you had an opportunity, would you take it?” But Charles, seemingly embarrassed to be caught on video asking for an autograph, muttered that it was “for his mother” before quickly walking away.
And of course, the report doesn’t end without the local outfit criticizing the two for their postgame attitude with statements like, “it just goes to show about what this team’s about.”
Dallas Cowboys Tashard Choice Apologizes For Osama Bin Laden Tweets
Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice has apologized for his tweets that expressed his displeasure that he was going to miss CNBC’s airing of To Catch a Predator on Sunday night as promised on his cable box guide. To Catch a Predator was interrupted because President Obama delivered the news that terrorist Osama Bin Laden had been killed.
“No to catch a predator tonight. Not cool cnbc,” Choice wrote on his account.
Shortly thereafter Choice realized the situation that had caused the program to be pre-empted and offered an apology.
“My bad my tweet people osama bin laden being dead is better news. Micheal Jackson #makethisworldabetterplace.”
He later tweeted that he believes Chris Hansen is the best in the business. “I just wanna say u are the best damn reporter I ever seen. I love how ask questions and you work. Hope you are a cowboy fan.”
Tashard Choice First Interview Since Michael Vick Autograph Incident
Today on our show we had Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice, who gave his first interview since the whole incident went down when he asked Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick for an autograph after the Sunday Night Football game on NBC. He said the autograph was for his 3-year-old nephew and apologized for how it looked to fans but said it has no impact how he prepares on Sunday’s for the Cowboy’s organization.
WTF: Tashard Choice
The Dallas Cowboys fell to 4-9 last night against their heated rivals the Philadelphia Eagles but the uproar from Cowboy fan seems to not be with the loss or the sight of seeing their interim head coach Jason Garrett chuckling it up with Eagles head coach Andy Reid. However, it’s with watching Cowboys running back Tashard Choice seeking Eagles quarterback Michael Vick for an autograph on a glove right after the game that was caught on camera by NBC, which he later said was for his 3 year old nephew.
We preach perception on our show and it definitely wasn’t a good look but it’s funny how quickly a loss and most of all who he was asking the autograph from that people forget how their they were just licking his apple sack after last weeks 100 yards and 1 touchdown performance versus the Indianapolis Colts.
