Serge Ibaka hits Blake Griffin apple sack
The Los Angeles Clippers forward took a hard, clearly intentional punch below the belt from Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka during Sunday afternoon’s 108-104 loss.
The punch came on a supposed box-out attempt. Clippers forward Matt Barnes launched (and made) a three-pointer from the corner, which pulled the Clippers to down three as the Thunder’s big lead melted away. Griffin got position on Ibaka, who dropped his hand into the front of Griffin’s shorts to drop the All-Star.
Serge Ibaka Calls Shane Battier A Big Time Flopper
Flopping has been a hot topic recently in the NBA so, at Oklahoma City Thunder’s practice on Wednesday, Serge Ibaka said the biggest flopper in the NBA Finals is Miami Heat’s Shane Battier who he labeled a “big-time” flopper.
Metta World Peace Delivers Elbow To James Harden
Los Angeles Lakers Metta World Peace delivered a brutal elbow to the head of Oklahoma City Thunders James Harden during the game Sunday at Staples Center.
Peace was celebrating a fast break dunk he had just finished, and as he was headed back down the court to play defense he encountered Harden. Peace then pounded his chest with his right arm, and as that happened his left elbow was sent smashing into the back of Harden’s head. Harden hit the deck immediately and Serge Ibaka went after Peace, but cooler heads prevailed and Peace was ejected.
BLOCK CITY: Your Victim-Blake Griffin
Oklahoma City Thunder Serge Ibaka, you have been charged with the crime of Representin. And the verdict is Guilty.
Serge Ibaka Forever Linked To Carlos Boozer
Utah Jazz’s Carlos Boozer has his million dollar moment at the expense of Oklahoma City’s Thunder Serge Ibaka from 36 feet out it seemed. That’s what I call throwing down the hammer.
Boozer is still lame though.
