TLC Orders Pete Rose Reality Series

Major League Baseball’s all-time hit leader is hoping for one more this time in the form of a TV show. TLC has begun production on a reality series starring Pete Rose, the polarizing 17-time All-Star who was banned from his beloved sport for gambling on games while he was a manager for the Cincinnati Reds.
With a working title of Pete Rose and Kiana Kim Family Project, the show will follow the 71-year-old Rose and his thirtysomething model fiancée Kiana Kim, who has posed for Playboy in the past, through their daily lives as they try to blend their families.
A few family members are apprehensive about the relationship. And while Rose is based in Las Vegas, where he signs baseball memorabilia, or is on the road making public appearances, Kim and her two children live in Los Angeles.
The cameras will trail them through such events as Rose taking the family to visit the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, to Kim getting a breast reduction.
TLC is planning to air five episodes of the show later this year.

Olympic gold medalist and model Amanda Beard confesses to self-mutilation, bulimia and depression in a harrowing new memoir that came out yesterday.
In her book, In the Water They Can’t See You Cry, the 30-year old Olympic swimmer describes how her parents’ divorce and the pressure from world swimming drove Beard to abuse herself.
Beard stole America’s hearts as a 14-year old when she competed in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics while still carrying a teddy bear named Harold. But behind the scenes she struggled with her parents’ divorce and the swimming pool became her “sanctuary.”
During her teens and 20′s the clinically depressed Beard became bulimic (an eating disorder characterized by binge eating, then purging), abused drugs and alcohol and began cutting herself with a razor. The self-mutilation continued — even as the the 7-time Olympic medalist became a sex symbol, posing naked for Playboy and PETA.
In the book, Beard writes about how she finally went too far with the razor. With blood all over her bathroom, she finally confesses her cutting craze to then-boyfriend Sacha Brown:
I grabbed the razor, a two-inch handle in a cheery shade of pink with an extremely thin and sharp blade at its tip. I surrendered to the object so tiny in my palm. With the razor in my right hand, I revealed the underside of my other arm, cradling it close to my body. The energy ran too fast to contemplate the moment before the half-inch silver blade hit my arm. It flashed briefly in the sunlight before slicing into the meaty part between the wrist and the elbow. One. Two. Three. I made the small lines as I had done so many times before. I didn’t have to press hard, only run the razor across my skin as lightly as a blade of grass moving across the leg of a child running through a field.
I knew immediately. Something was wrong. The calm that usually washed over me as soon as I made my light little cuts with their delicate beads of blood was replaced by a new fear. In the moment when thinking was not possible and the energy took over, I must have applied too much pressure, because one of the cuts gushed blood. This was not in control.
Within a second or two, blood spread across my arm, dripping down from my elbow to the white tile floor below. It was getting all over the place, on my tank top, my jeans, my feet. I yelled at my boyfriend, Sacha, all the time for the messes he made around the house we shared. I was never the cause before.
Beard went through therapy and medication. She’s now happily married to Brown and the couple have a 2-year old son. She hopes to make her 5th Olympic team in London this summer.

It seems the Tampa Bay Rays are having their own case of the Bachelor going on. Third baseman Evan Longoria recently confirmed he’s dating former Playboy model Jamie Edmonson and now comes word that backup shortstop Reid Brignac is not to be outdone by the teams star.
Brignac confirmed that he is dating Playboy model Lauren Anderson. Not only are the two a couple but they are also expecting their first child, real soon. The couple expect the baby to be here by March 18, 2012.
The next question that needs to be asked is if another Ray player will have a Playboy model by his side by then. Looking at you David Price.

Tampa Bay Rays slugger Evan Longoria has confirmed that he and Playboy model and former Miami Dolphins cheerleader Jaime Edmondson are dating. This photo of the two taken at Disney’s Animal Kingdom enjoying themselves circulated the internet and caused the two to come forward.
“Yes, we are dating,” Longoria said. “It’s been a secret for long enough; it’s not really been a secret, but nobody has asked about it. We are dating.”

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has been spotted in Bosie, Idaho, with Torrie Wilson, the Miss Galaxy champion who also was a star for World Wrestling Entertainment before retiring.
The Idaho Statesman reports Rodriguez was at Axiom Fitness in Boise on Monday with Wilson, who also has was a Playboy centerfold.
Mike Murad, an anchor for Channel 2 in Bosie, also spotted the Yankees star, and posted a photo of him on Twitter. Murad told the Statesman that A-Rod said “He was trying to keep a low profile.”
Rodriguez and Wilson were photographed earlier this month riding bicycles together in Miami, according to the New York Daily News. They also were seen in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, vacationing with actor George Clooney and gal pal Stacey Kiebler, another former woman wrestler.
Wilson was the 1998 Miss Galaxy fitness winner, and appeared on Playboy’s cover in 2004.
Croatian Soccer Team Signs Former Playboy Model Nives Celsius

Former Playboy model Nives Celsius is no stranger to the soccer pitch as she once had sex with her husband, Croation footballer Dino Drpic, in the middle of the field at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb and now has been signed on to play with Slaven Belupo FC, a top team in the Croatian league. Celsius reportedly will see at least some action during Slaven Belupo’s match against Zagreb FC today.
Celsius isn’t the only model whose risque antics have garnered headlines in the soccer world. Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme who said that she would run naked through the streets if her home country won the World Cup. She made the same promise for the 2011 Copa America.

An LADOT parking official took photos of Los Angeles Lakers star Andrew Bynum parking his BMW in a handicapped parking area yesterday. NBC4 of Los Angeles tried to talk to the uninjured 23-year-old Bynum about parking in the handicapped area but he slammed his car door and drove off without comment.
Judgement doesn’t seem to be the strong suit of Bynum’s as he is the same player who once rehabbed a previous knee injury by partying at the Playboy Mansion, and the same guy who delayed a knee surgery so he could attend the World Cup.
German National Women’s Soccer Team Pose For Playboy

Five members of the German National Women’s under-20 team posed erotically for the German edition of Playboy, in hopes of promoting the sport just weeks before the Women’s World Cup kicks off. The idea was to show the more beautiful side of women’s sports, as opposed to the “butch” stereotype that they feel shrouds the game. Annika Doppler, Ivana Rudelic, Julia Simic, Selina Wagner and Kristina Gessat all stripped down for the shoot.
“With these photos, we want to disprove the cliche that all female footballers are butch,” Gessat told The Local.

Cheerleader Sues Indianapolis Colts After Being Fired For Playboy Appearance

Malori Wampler, at one point in her life, had spent some time working for Playboy magazine. Later, she was hired by the Indianapolis Colts as a cheerleader. The Colts knew of her past employer yet last Novemeber, when a Colts fan sent the team photos of Wampler wearing a painted-on bikini, they immediately fired her, saying she had violated the rules of conduct for committing “any act that will or may create notoriety.”
The Indianapolis Star reports Wampler is suing the team for discrimination. Wampler, who is Indonesian, says the Colts “discriminated against her based on her gender and ethnicity because other cheerleaders have committed acts that created ‘notoriety’ but were allowed to keep their jobs.”
She is seeking to be reinstated as a cheerleader and to recoup all lost wages which is $100 per game.

Smirnoff, from Dancing With The Stars fame, unveiled her May cover of Playboy yesterday to the delight of her fans.
On posing in Playboy, Smirnoff said “I’m thrilled to show off my strong, toned physique in the pages of Playboy and celebrate my sexiness.”

NFL Player’s Wife In New Sex Tape

RadarOnline.com reports that Kendra Wilkinson, whose married to Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Hank Baskett, is in another sex tape released by her former high school boyfriend Justin Frye. If you remember Frye released one back in May 2010 and this video comes from the same era but this time it being a lesbian sex scene with high school friend Taryn Ryan. The video is shot once again by Frye himself.

UFC’s Top Octagon Girl Gets Playboy Cover

UFC fans all know Arianny Celeste as the most popular of the Octagon girls, but now the 24-year-old will extend her exposure beyond the cage this month, in the pages of Playboy. Celeste will get the cover and an additional eight pages inside.
Celeste hosts a web-based show about the sport at UFC.com and describes her job duties as, “Just don’t trip over your feet, and try to look hot and graceful,” and adds that, “I love my legs. They’re super-strong and lean. I’m proud of these stems.”
Speaking of the Playboy shoot she said it was relatively easy because, “I’m usually running around naked, so it came naturally.”
Jaime Edmondson Models Victoria’s Secret For The NFL
Victoria’s Secret joined forces with the NFL to sell officially licensed merchandise over the summer and former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and runner-up in the CBS reality show The Amazing Race 14, which I would like to know why it’s still not in HD, Jaime Edmondson took time out of her Playboy schedule to pose for The Smoking Jacket of few of the NFL teams and the Victoria’s Secret line.

Jason Kidd’s Girlfriend Named Playboy Playmate Of The Year
Playboy is ready to jump off the pages and bring it’s women in 3-D form when it unveils Port Lavaca’s own and Dallas Mavericks Jason Kidd’s girlfriend Hope Dworaczyk as Playboy’s 2010 Playmate of the Year.
Dworaczyk was Miss Teen Texas in 2000 and is the the 51st Playmate of the Year. Her Playmate of the Year issue will be on newsstands on Friday with her pictorial feature having several photos in 3-D. Special 3-D glasses will be included.
Whats next up for her career, not sure and don’t care I’m still baffled by her boyfriend being Jason Kidd.
