Green Bay Law Firm Offers $5G Towards Renaming Street After Mike McCarthy
The people are so excited about hosting yet another Lombardi Trophy and their first in fourteen years that they want to rename their streets after current Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. In fact a Green Bay law firm has offered to donate $5,000 towards the efforts in renaming a street after the Super Bowl winning coach. Metzler, Timm, Treleven, Pahl, Beck S.C. made the offer after seeing that some were opposed to the renaming because of the cost.
Mayor Jim Schmitt has proposed renaming the street “McCarthy’s Way” but yet hasn’t selected a street for the change. Estimates for the cost haven’t been released as of yet.
How Many Sacks Will DeMarcus Ware Get This Sunday?
Mike Mccarthy has already lost twice to Brett Favre this season and his Green Bay Packers have been beaten by a win less Tampa Bay Buccaneers team but his problems don’t stop there as the Dallas Cowboys and DeMarcus Ware come into town.
That’s cause his offensive line has been able to keep quarterback Aaron Rodgers off his back which they have been able to do a total of three times all season. Rodgers has been sacked a league high 37 times this year in part because he is playing behind an offensive line that is battling injuries and he holds the ball way o long.
Rodgers 37 sacks is more than half way to the all time record of 76 by David Carr in 2002 for one quarterback. The Cleveland Browns are the only team yet to register a single sack on Rodgers but the Packers don’t play them this weekend. After a slow start to this season, Ware has picked up the pace and recorded 5 sacks. This would be a great game for Ware to get back on last year sack pace of 20 sacks.
I’m rolling the dice with 3 sacks for Ware and 5 for Dallas on Sunday, how many you got?
