Minnesota Vikings Jared Allen Must Come Up With New Sack Dance
When Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen gets a sack in the NFL he leads his mullet mafia members into a move where he gets down on one knee and proceeds to make as if he is roping an imaginary calf has no been deemed by the league as having too much fun.
The NFL says he is in violation of rule Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1 (d) of the NFL Rule Book which states: “Players are prohibited from engaging in any celebrations while on the ground. Demonstrations of this kind by any player will result in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (loss of 15 yards) and are subject to potential fines.”
But the funny thing about the NFL warning Allen is it now comes after seven years of him doing it in the league now.
“Yeah, I just figured after seven years of doing it…but hey whatever,” Allen said Monday. “Rules are rules I guess. I’m going to carry some cardboard with me and just slide it underneath my knee,” he said. “It’s legal right? I ain’t just going to give it up,” he said.
Way to go NFL once again you forcefully look for a way to uniform your players and take the fun out of your sport. I love watching robots play.
