Logan Tuley-Tillman Receives Death Threats For Burning Ohio State Recruiting Letter
University of Michigan recruit Logan Tuley-Tillman knows first hand how intense the rivalry can get between the Wolverines and Ohio State. Tuley-Tillman said he’s been receiving death threats from scorned Ohio State fans after he posted a photo of him burning a recruitment letter from the Buckeyes.
“There have been a couple death threats,” the five star Peoria, Ill. offensive lineman said. “And they’ve been sending my mom messages on Facebook. I just told her you can’t listen to it because it’s one of the biggest rivalries in sports.”
Tuley-Tillman says the reception from Ohio State fans has damaged his opinion on the school, which is still trying to woo him to the Scarlet and Gray. Tuley-Tillman said he also was treated similarly on a recent excursion to Columbus, a trip during which he wore a Michigan hat.
“I was up there and the fans were cussing me out and they were saying ‘[expletive] you’ and stuff like that while I was walking through the mall,” he said. “It wasn’t like in my face. They were like saying things and then would power walk away. One of them actually threw something at me, but it didn’t hit me. So, that’s how it started.”
