Former NFL Bust Todd Marinovich Is A Very Good Painter
When the talk of NFL Draft day bust comes up at the quarterback position the names Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell are usually the first to be spoken. Often forgotten is former University of Southern California Trojans and Los Angeles Raiders first round pick, number 24 overall Todd Marinovich, ROBO QB, who was groomed to play the position before his teenage years.
Marinovich went on to play just one year in the NFL throwing for 1,345 yards 8 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. His career was cut short due to ineffectiveness and substance abuse. Marinovich can now be found creating paintings from sports stars like Magic Johnson and Joe Montana to that of singers Jimi Hendrix and Leonard Cohen.
They are actually pretty good and here are a few samples. You can check out the rest of his collection HERE.
