Former NBA Player Kenny Anderson To Appear On HBO Drama

I'll Be Watching
HBO is the king of original programming on TV right now and they look to have another blockbuster hit on their hands with the HBO drama “Treme.” The show has yet to air but will already be crossing paths witth the sports world when former Georgia Tech and NBA susperstar Kenny Anderson makes a cameo.
The HBO show “Treme”, takes a look at post-Katrina New Orleans. Anderson talked about it on Twitter.
“Yo all my followers ya can check me out on Treme HBO in a couple of weeks. … It’s just a cameo I’m at a Christmas party. … They contacted me and asked if I wanted to do it. I met Ron Brown before he is real cool dude.”
Anderson is referring to Rob Brown who plays a character on the show and you might also know him as Ernie Davis in “The Express.”
“Treme” has nothing to do with sports, but it’s from David Simon and Co., who also brought you “The Wire”, which in my opinion was far better than any other HBO show likeĀ “1st and Ten”, “Dream On” or the “Sopranos.” If that’s not enough reason to watch, I’m not sure what would be.
