Damn I don’t know how many times I have to post and repost about former Detroit Lions Charles Rogers being in the news. But here we are once again to post how police allege that the former No. 1 overall draft pick threatened to kill his mother if she did not re-pay him a loan of $100,000.

Rogers, 30, and his uncle Ronie Rogers conspired to threaten Cathy Rogers on March 5 and March 6. Charles Rogers has been charged with making a malicious phone call and conspiring to commit a crime. Rogers surrendered to authorities and faces a total of five misdemeanor charges, including unrelated alleged crimes.

In the report, police allege Charles Rogers threatened his mother by saying he would “blow her mouth out” and that he was willing to do “the time” for the crime if he did not get his money back.
