San Antonio Spurs DeJuan Blair Unleashes Auto-Tune

What came first, the chicken or the egg? Round and round you can go with that question and the same can be said with athletes trying to be rappers and entertainers trying to be rappers. San Antonio Spurs forward DeJuan Blair has been part of this circle for a while now but recently has enlisted the help of auto-tune to his craft.

If your a Spurs fan who’s corner are you standing in and representing their musical career, Blair or Tony Parker?

San Antonio Spurs Tim Duncan Sea World Experience

San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan put his Saint Croix swimming skills to use at the San Antonio Sea World when he took a dip/spin in the pool with some beluga whales. I was unaware that Sea World was still open for business here in San Antonio.

New San Antonio Spurs Uniform?

Brand New?

We haven’t received any email or press release from the San Antonio Spurs telling us that this was in their future plans but what we did received was a link to adidas official basketball site. That is where I saw this picture in the bottom right hand corner with forward Tim Duncan donning an all black Spurs uniform. Could adidas have jump the gun with their marketing or just happen to photograph Tim in an Eisenhower flea market bootleg jersey?

Either way I’m a fan.

Malik Roses Philly’s Phamous Cheesesteaks Are Back In San Antonio

Straight Out Of Drexel

That’s right former San Antonio Spurs Malik Rose is bringing his Malik’s Philly’s Phamous Cheesesteaks Restaurant back to San Antonio. When Rose played with the Spurs he had two locations in San Antonio, in the Quarry Market and the other was off 1604 and Bandera Road, but where shut down after he was traded away to the New York Knicks.

Now that it looks as if his NBA career has come to a close, Rose can devote full attention to his restaurant which the new one will be off West Avenue and Blanco across the street from Churchill High School.

I did always appreciated Rose on the court and his hustle so it’s good to see him once again laying roots down in San Antonio. However I gotta call a spade a spade and say that I was never a fan of those cheesesteakes and believed they San Antonio put them on pedestal because he played for the Spurs. They just weren’t all what they where cracked up to be and that’s just my palate though.

San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker Having A Hell Of A Summer

I have no idea what he’s saying except for a sprinkle of exceptions like Eva Longoria, Sean Elliott, San Antonio Spurs, Rah Digga Flipmode Squad oh and Tony Parker is having a better summer than you and me. Nice Drazen Petrovic jersey at the end and speaking of nice, how about the TALENT running around in Croatia?

“I am all for marriage. I think we all have the same rights. Although in reality with regard to adoption do not feel able to give an opinion.”

Do you agree or disagree? Do you believe more U.S. athletes should take such stances or at least voice their opinion?

But Is San Antonio Celebrating?

San Antonio Spurs and NBA star Tony Parker will not play for France at this year’s world championships in Turkey after admitting that his San Antonio Spurs club prefer him to rest and not risk another injury.

“I know that the world championships will go on without me. The Spurs have indicated to me that they would prefer me to concentrate solely on the club,” Parker said on Thursday.

France have been drawn with Spain, Lithuania, New Zealand, Canada and Lebanon in the first round of the world championships which take place in Turkey from August 28 to September 12.

San Antonio Spurs Gregg Popovich Mocks Reporter

Remember the Titans? Not here. Win one for the Gipper? Um, no thanks. Famous speeches given by Vince Lombardi? Don’t need ‘em. Such is the approach of San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich uses, whose team is in a 2-0 deficit against the Phoenix Suns.

Popovich has no place in his locker room for the cheerleading instead likes to belittle reporters. Think of a question? I believe he did sir, it just wasn’t up to par to your fine wine taste buds.

Sad thing is this is just a pimple to compared to some of his other mockings.
