Fight In The Stands At The U.S. Open
Apparently it’s Jersey Shore in the stands of the U.S. Open and a fight happened during the Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner match at the U.S. Open that sends an elderly man tumbling down a few rows.
Floyd Mayweather’s Rant On Manny Pacquiao
Floyd Mayweather Jr. went on an rant about Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao via Ustream. Mayweather referred to Pacquiao as a midget several times and said that once he beats Pacquiao he will force him to “make some sushi rolls and cook some rice.”
Mayweather’s rant comes a day after Pacquiao, who is out promoting his November 13 fight with Antonio Margarito, called out Floyd for refusing to fight saying, “I don’t need him, he needs me. Compare my achievements in boxing to his achievements.”
Usain Bolt Wants To Play For Manchester United
Usain Bolt took time out of demolishing world records to pay a visit to his favorite professional soccer club, Manchester United. There he discussed his future plans, besides the 4 years 40 million dollar contract he re-upped with shoemaker Puma, of taking his speed to the pitch. In his autobiography he says
“Ideally, if I was to play football, I’d sign for my favorite team, Manchester United. People say it’s not realistic but nobody has seen me play so you never know. If Alex Ferguson saw me in one of those charity matches he might think I could replace Ryan Giggs.”
According to United Kingdom Simon Hattenstone of the Guradian, he serious when he speaks of these dreams and isn’t using the talk to sell more books
“I ask about his ambitions. Ultimately, he says, he’d love to make a go of playing football professionally. He’s being deadly serious. One of the perks of being Usain Bolt is that sporting stars love to meet him, so whenever he’s traveling and there’s time, he tries to train with a top football team. Last year it was Manchester United, a few days ago it was Bayern Munich. He’s still carrying a copy of the French sporting newspaper L’Equipe, which features a spread on his football skills and praise from Bayern manager Louis van Gaal. He shows me a photo of himself with his arm wrapped round the dwarfed 6ft German forward Miroslav Klose. “If I keep myself in shape, I can definitely play football at a high level.”
I know it would be interesting to see what kind of celebration Bolt has in store after scoring a goal.
WTF: Cheerleader
This cheerleader in Turkey shows her off her very unusual but very much so respected talents at the FIBA World Championships. Why do I think of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry dated a trapeze artist when I see this?
Roger Federer Between The Legs Shot
Five-time U.S. Open champion Roger Federer came up with a trick shot that was without a doubt real against his first-round opponent, 96th-ranked Brian Dabul of Argentina. The shot is reminiscent of his back to the court through the legs hit against Novak Djokovic in the 2009 U.S. Open semifinals.
Shaquille O’Neal Wants To Fight Hong Man Choi
What is it exactly Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t want to do when he retires? I personally leaning towards one day seeing him in a police officers uniform as he’s stated in the past but I guess seeing in the octagon wouldn’t be that bad either.
21 Year Old Poses As A Middle Schooler So He Can Play Football
Julious Threatts a 21-year-old Tampa man impersonated a 14-year-old in a youth football league and attempted to enroll at a Webb Middle School in Florida. Threatts used the name Chad Jordan to register and play for the Town N’ Country Packers, which are made up of 13 and 14-year-olds in the Tampa Bay Youth Football League.
He then attempted to enroll at Webb Middle School under his alias. Threatts showed up without paperwork and told the administrators he was homeless that’s when the Department of Child and Families was called in. Threatts cell phone rang while he was in a social workers office and on the other end was his mother, which is when his true identity became known.
Threatts was arrested on trespassing charges at the school, he also is being held on charges of violating probation in a 2009 burglary case. Threatts said he was a runaway and used the alias, “Chad Jordan,” the same name he used on a forged birth certificate to play for the Town N’ Country Packers.
Besides playing for the Packers this year it was discovered he played in another youth league last year and for another team in the TBYFL two years ago.

Back on March 13, we posted the story of Washington DC’s Natalie Randolph who became this nation’s only female head coach of a high school varsity football team lost her coaching debut.Cameras and microphones followed Randolph’s every move on Friday in front of an estimated 3,500 at Calvin Coolidge High School. Her Colts lost 28-0 to Carroll High School Lions spoiling Randolph’s entrance into the coaching profession.
Fans began arriving more than two hours before kickoff even before Carroll’s bus pulled into the Coolidge parking lot and when kickoff was finally underway the public address announcer announced “the Natalie Randolph regime has begun.”
When asked afterward how the game differed from those when she was an assistant coach at H.D. Woodson, Randolph said “All of y’all,” referring to the reporters surrounding her. “That’s the only difference.”

Compartment Syndrome Sends 19 Oregon High School Football Players To Hospital
Compartment syndrome is the compression of nerves and blood vessels within an enclosed space . Over the past week, 19 McMinnville High School football players landed in the hospital with 3 undergoing surgery due to severe swelling in their triceps.
“To have an epidemic like this is very weird,” Dr. Craig Winkler of Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville.
Besides the 3 who required surgery, five of the athletes were treated in the emergency room and sent home. The other 11 were admitted to the hospital and given intravenous fluids to maintain adequate hydration and prevent kidney failure, he said.
The disorder can be caused by supplements, exercise, or, perhaps, working out in the school’s 115 degree wrestling room. A combo of the supplement creatine and the 115 degrees would be a likely place to look despite 2 players claiming they were not taking creatine. Especially in teens overtraining their upper bodies.
Clear Springs & Spring High School Football Brawl
Football here in the state of Texas is religion and we take our football serious but fighting in pads really is a joke. The only other time I see people think they are this tuff is when they had about 8 shots of Tequila.

Sacramento Kings Tyreke Evans Goes Golfing
Sacremento Kings Tyreke Evans isn’t allowed behind the wheel of a vehicle for a short period and what better time to start to find a hobby. Unforuntely for Evans golf doesn’t look to be in his future. Know you could argue that Evans might be the next Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan or LeBron James of the league with his rookie averages of at least 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game making him only the 4th player in the league to accomplish that feat but golf should be left to John Daly.
WTF: Tiger Woods/Ben Roethlisberger Part Deux
Back on April 18, we posted a vintage photo of golfer Tiger Woods and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and now it seems that someone has decided to make a profit off 2010 biggest meltdowns in sports with a tee-shirt of the two. The creator of the tee is calling them Dumb and Dumber and after the months have passed in each athletes story it seems to be a perfect fit.
Due yourself a favor and check out the original photo of the two actually posing together that we posted HERE.

Mike Tyson ‘Hangover’ Appearance Was For Drug Money
I have often said this is the most misunderstood athlete of my generation and once more a Mike Tyson story is revealed that is hard to fathom if it wasn’t coming straight from the source. Tyson opened up with ESPN Radio in Las Vegas over the weekend and spoke about his appearance in last summers mega comedy hit “The Hangover.”
“I was doing that to supply my drug habit,” he said. He added that he planned on selling bootlegs of the movie, but instead it was an “international success.”
Tyson also talked about how the death of his four-year-old daughter impacted his decision to become a vegan. “I wanted a different life. I felt like I was dying. I had an incident in life where I lost my four year old daughter in a tragic accident at home,” Tyson said. “I don’t know. I didn’t want to live anymore. So I said, that in order to go there, I had to change my life.”
The life that is of Mike Tyson will never truly be understood.
