Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin Player: Auburn University Tigers
Every Tuesday Sports Grind Entertainment presents you with the Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin Player of the Week. This week the recipient of this prestigious honor goes to Auburn University Tigers football team for winning the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game 22-19 over number 2 Oregon on Monday night. The perfect season, 14-0, capped off the SEC fifth straight national championship and the first time in fifty-three years for Auburn.
On offensive it was all running back Michael Dyer who finished with 143 yards and was even chosen Offensive Player of the Game. Quarterback Cam Newton had a stellar performance on that side of the ball as he threw for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 64 yards.
Defensively Nick Fairley had the Ducks moving backward as he continued to be a game-changer with his 3 tackles for loss that included a sack.
