Aaron Rodgers & Ryan Braun To Open Restaurant Together

Wisconsin’s reigning sports MVP’s figure two jersey numbers are better than one. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun have signed licensing agreements with SURG restaurant group.
The joint establishment called 8*twelve,after Braun’s uniform #8 and Rodgers #12, will serve American classics prepared on a wood-fire grill at its 17800 W. Blue Mound Road location in Brookfield, a Milwaukee suburb. The restaurant is expected to open in late June.
Braun is already affiliated with SURG at his Graffito restaurant in Milwaukee’s Third Ward. The group could also explore whether to open other 8*twelve restaurants, possibly in Madison or in the Fox Valley.
Rodgers, the 2011 NFL MVP, and Braun, who won the National League honor in baseball last season, have become close friends. The Packers quarterback was especially supportive of Braun during his recent suspension/appeal controversy.
Both players are expected to make scheduled and unscheduled appearances at the restaurant throughout the year.
